Angela Hennessey FCA FCIArb qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1982 with Ernst & Young (now EY) in London. She then gained several years’ audit then corporate advisory and litigation support experience before specialising in the valuation of shares and businesses.
She set up her own practice in 2002 after working as a consultant to Robson Rhodes (now part of Grant Thornton), having instigated that firm’s specialist valuation group.
She has now specialised in valuation for over 30 years and has extensive experience in assisting clients resolve their disputes.
That experience, along with Angela’s integrity, intelligence and diligence, has been recognised in various ways within the profession: for instance, Angela is a panel member of the ICAEW President’s Appointment Scheme and has been appointed by the President on numerous occasions over the past 25 years to determine the value of shares, as well as partnership and other disputes.

Angela Hennessey is a Chartered Arbitrator and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). She is on the CIArb Presidential Panel of senior and experienced practitioners of arbitration and has received arbitration appointments by the President.

Founder member of The Expert Witness Institute.
Member of the Academy of Experts.
Angela Hennessey was one of a small number of independent experts on the HMRC Share Valuation Panel for nearly 15 years. HMRC appointed members from this panel to act as independent experts in relation to complex tax valuation cases that might go to litigation.
